The American Swedish Institute / October 2023
A book launch event for the Minnesota creative community and family friends took place in October 2023. With help from my co-sponsors ENPOINTE and Sappi, both of whom played a role in the book’s final production step (printing and paper), it was held in Larson Hall of the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis.
A selection of oversized mounted spreads from the book accompanied seven framed archival prints from the original fine art series of Carlyle’s old tools. My design concept for the space was to give it the vibe of an intimate jazz club, as I had previously arranged for a jazz quintet to perform that evening as a surprise gift of music for all who attended.
